Details for the University’s annual Master Chef Culinary Evening announced
The University of Sheffield have recently announced the details for their twentieth annual Master Chef Culinary Evening to be held at the prestigious Firth Court. The event, which takes place on Saturday 2 April, will feature a special guest speech from legendary TV chef Brian Turner CBE.
The Yorkshire born Ready Steady Cook star will share his experiences from over forty years in the food industry following a five-star fine dining experience from the University’s own Master Chefs of Great Britain. Our all-star team of Tracy Carr, Debbie Gooder and Joe Berry will create a menu of exciting and innovative food assisted by their talented catering and hospitality teams.

University head chef Tracy Carr is one of only a handful of female Master Chefs in the UK and has previously cooked meals for the Queen on her visit to the city. Joe Berry, who is head chef at University restaurant Inox Dine, achieved his Master Chef status in 2014. The prestigious Master Chef accolade is a status awarded to only the finest chefs in Great Britain.

Tickets are priced at £75 per person for the black tie event. The evening will start at 7.15pm with dinner served at 8pm and drinks to be served until 1.30am.
