After receiving feedback from across the University, we’ve now added exciting new products to the refreshwithUS catering range for small meetings.

It is hard to imagine that it has been over a year since we first opened the doors to Jessop Cafe. Based in the Jessop West building, Jessop Cafe has proved a great success with students and staff alike and is fast becoming the place to be seen around campus.

As we are now in the thick of winter, hardly seeing the light of day, thoughts have started turning towards the joy of the 2010 wedding season.

The newly refurbished Common Room is just waiting for a celebration to bring it to life and since October 2009 we have been able to offer this premium event space for parties and functions.

The University House project is well under way and you will notice that the front entrance to the building has become a construction site. Do not fear – you can still access our cafes and purchase the delicious eatwithUS food you know and love throughout the construction work.

The Common Room refurbishment is well and truly finished and since October 2009 students, staff and visitors have been enjoying the bistro style menu and chic facilities. Featuring both a restaurant and cafe bar area, The Common Room is a great place to eat, meet, and have a coffee or drink.

We are delighted to announce the opening of The Ridge bar at our new Ranmoor Village site. The stylish furniture and plush bar create a real chic aura, while the pool table create a fun element to the bar.

The Ridge, The Ranmoor Village's conferencing centre boasts three contemporary conference rooms, with capacity for up to 150 delegates. And, with state-of-the-art equipment, free parking and award winning catering and bar facilities, The Ridge is a perfect residential conference venue.

The University Arms was delighted to be included in CAMRA's Good Beer Guide 2009. Now in its 37th year, The CAMRA good beer guide is a prestigious guide within the industry, listing the best pubs and bars in the country.

The Ranmoor Village offers stylish bedrooms as a great value alternative to local hotels, featuring brand new en-suite single bedrooms available for Bed and Breakfast or on a Room Only basis.
